  • See ya all on the flip side!

Not sure how long Xanga will be hosting this blog o’ mine. Because even though I paid to be a lifetime Xangan, the Xanga world has seemed to have become extinct.

    So, I give you.....

    kolohegirl.wordpress.c(you fill in the rest)

I can’t guarantee I’ll have new content but at least I’ll have some peace knowing that when I have time to update, I can.

Until then, this is KGirl signing off. Goodnight and good morning.

  • Is it me.....?

..... or doesn't the new xanga dashboard look an awful lot like....

    WordPress??

  • Photo catch up?

It became such a hassle to email myself my photos then log onto my PC to got and upload my daily pics that I said forget it. Well I just happened to try this here app again only to find it didn't work it all. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again and LOOK I can upload pics! Ahhhh..... For your pleasure (or not), I am uploading TWO pics. Well, they need to go together but anyway, here's my first stab at Xanga's mobile app.

EDIT: I suppose I should elaborate on the pics.  Well, as you all know I have a daughter.  She is now 6.  She can go to the restroom all by herself and has been doing that for a few years now. BUT. Sometimes, she tends to take a long time in there. Whether, she playing with the soap, water, hand towel, what have you, it's almost a given that 4 out of 5 times, she will be in there for a whiile. Well, on one of these occasions, I did a follow up after her to put the towel or soap back, or to wipe the counter, who knows what surprise I'd find.  I was not expecting this:

It was "Rapunzel" she said.  BEAMING.  Now, I admit, this toilet paper mache creation from this inspired 6-year old was pretty darn impressive but one can only be compelled to ask what was her water source... Let's just say we had a brief lesson on potty water.

  • Hanging with friends

Well, not really since they weren't MY friends. They were the hubby's friends. And good friends they are, too. Can't say I have any. Can't blame them. I've never been one to keep up with anyone consistently or made any effort to. I'm happily content with being a loner. "Anti-Social" as my mom used to joke.

It's not that I don't like people. It's more like its hard work for me. Not the keeping in touch etc. It's the day to day stuff. It's the what do I talk about now. It's the talking. Period. I tend to talk a lot. In my mind. Trouble is, my mouth has other plans. I have to work on not lisping. What I want to say never really comes out of my mouth well IRL. I end up stuttering or saying gobbledygook.

    Really.

I also digress. Much like I am right now. Long story short. I had a good time. With my non friends. Who knows what would happen if I actually made some of my own one day. I might have so much fun that I'd cry.

  • It's a bird, it's a plane...

It's 8 planes.  In a pattern.  Must research but too tired.  Damn you Xanga for not making a mobile app with picture uploads in a timely manner! DO IT! ('Cause Nike didn't say, "Just TRY it."  Bleh.  Meh.

  • Et tu?

Next time, take the knife you just stabbed me in the back with and shove a little harder. If you were aiming for the heart, you still would have had the same result if you'd have faced me.

  • Well, much to my chagrin, my project is inappropriately labelled. There are 366 days in this year. LOL.

I really wish Xanga gets the ball rolling on a mobile app. Emailing myself the photos then having to upload them from my computer is archaic.  I'm almost tempted to move this project over to Facebook.  ALMOST.  Dammit, people! I'm trying to bring Xanga back, man! Not to mention I'm not loving the new FB timeline, which I turned on because curiosity kills cats. Now I can't turn it off.  AND, I paid for LIFETIME Xanga (even though my badge says I'm just a Premier user) so why shouldn't I use Xanga.  Oh, and yet another reason is, well, I haven't gotten into the habit of Google+ yet.  So now I find myself having to catch up.

Anyway, in other news, I found out Almond Milk is not good for people with thyroid conditions.  I'm still trying to figure it out but my sleep has suffered the side affects somehow.  The past few nights have been absolutely painful to stay up past 10.  Consequently, I missed uploading my daily pics. (Only reason I'm up is because I was patching servers.  Fun.)

Hrmmm..... So, do I shove all the pics in one post?  Seems fair... Right?

    Nah. I'm tired.

I'll figure it out.  But until then.... #Project366 Picture #10 (011012). Because it's sexy. Because it's Skyrim. Because I'm addicted to that darn game.

  • Waiting...
